The Nk’Mip Desert Culture Centre was designed to blend seamlessly with its rare surroundings—the striking desert landscape at the southern end of the Okanagan Valley in Osoyoos, BC. Located on a 1,600‑acre area owned by the Osoyoos Indian Band, it stands within the largest remaining section of this distinctive ecosystem. Crafted from rammed earth, the building emerges naturally from the terrain and houses both indoor and outdoor exhibits that celebrate the band’s cultural heritage.
